The Flaming Lips Announce US Tour For They New Release “Dark Side Of The Moon”

In December, Wayne Coyne’s crew digitally released The Flaming Lips and Stardeath and White Dwarfs with Henry Rollins and Peaches Doing the Dark Side of the Moon, a homage to Pink Floyd’s classic. Now there are physical release dates (April 17 on vinyl, May 4 on CD) and tour dates for the project, including a stop at Central Park’s SummerStage in July. Note: the Flaming Lips’ version doesn’t synch perfectly with The Wizard of Oz, but it does do so, strangely, with the 1997 Dennis Rodman–Jean-Claude Van Damme film Double Team. Full Story at NME
