Rolling Stones to Reissue “Exile on Main Street” Album With Unheard Tracks


‘Exile on Main Street’, the Rolling Stones’ classic 1972 album, is set to be reissued with an additional 10 previously unheard tracks.

An announcement on the Stones’ official website explains the new material was recorded during the long gestation period of ‘Exile…’, beginning in1968. New songs include ‘Plundered My Soul,’ ‘Dancing in the Light,’ ‘Following the River’ and ‘Pass The Wine,’ while the package also includes alternate versions of album tracks ‘Soul Survivor’ and ‘Loving Cup.’ Mick Jagger told Rolling Stone magazine that he unearthed the tracks for the reissue at the record company’s request, then the singer and Keith Richards tweaked them slightly.
