Eminem Relapse Album Sold 1.8 Million in US!


Relapse is the sixth studio album by American rapper Eminem. It was released by record label Interscope Records, along with subsidiaries Aftermath Entertainment and Shady Records, May 19 in the United States. Relapse is Eminem’s first studio album since Encore in 2004, thus ending the rapper’s musical hiatus of five years. Dr. Dre, who produced most of the tracks on Relapse and performed on the number-one single “Crack a Bottle”, which also featured 50 Cent. “We Made You” followed and also made the top ten on the U.S. singles chart. Other singles included “3 a.m.”, “Old Time’s Sake”, and “Beautiful”, which were all top 40 hits in the U.S. To date Eminen has sold over 34 million album in the United States alone. With 608,000 sold in its first week, it not only nets the biggest sales week of the year for any album, but the best since AC/DC’s “Black Ice”. The album was noted as one of the most anticipated albums of 2009 by several websites and magazines.
