Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” Enter the National Film Registry


Michael Jackson’s on the spot light again! The famous “Thriller” video made in 1983 obtained the noble honor to be annexed in the National Film Registry library. The film become the first music video to be inducted into the Registry. The triller was directed by John Landis famous horror movie producer.

The video “had been considered for inclusion in past years, Leggett said, but in the aftermath of Jackson’s death, “the time was right.”
